Transaction Security

At LITTLE GREEN HAMPSTER we use one of the most secure transaction channels available in the world today.

Our eCommerce application includes the following security features:

We use Stripe as our credit card payment gateway. Credit card numbers are encrypted on disk with AES-256, while decryption keys are stored on separate machines.
Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in separate hosting infrastructure, and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services.
Stripe is certified to the highest industry standards and has obtained regulatory licenses around the world, including AFSL in Australia.
Our eCommerce functionality is programmed and maintained by Neto eCommerce, a sophisticated Australian website developer specialising in internet security and watertight website infrastructure.

What does this mean?

This means that when you order from the LITTLE GREEN HAMPSTER website, you can rest assured the highest security checks have been put in place to ensure your details will not fall into the wrong hands.

Returns

Deliveries returned to LITTLE GREEN HAMPSTER:

Occasionally a hamper will be returned to us for one of the following reasons:

A card was left, but there was no response from the recipient to arrange re-delivery.
A card was left, but the recipient did not pick up the package from the post office or newsagent.
The recipient is not known at that address or has moved elsewhere.
The address details are incorrect or insufficient.
The recipient was located in a hospital or hotel and has been discharged or checked out.

If a hamper has an incorrect address, our couriers are unable to call the recipient to verify, and instead the hamper will be returned to LITTLE GREEN HAMPSTER.
Hampers cannot be re-directed while in transit and will need to be returned to LITTLE GREEN HAMPSTER before being sent to the new/correct address.
LITTLE GREEN HAMPSTER will inform you via email within one week of the hamper being returned.
An applicable re-delivery fee will be passed on to you to facilitate the delivery of the hamper to the same or to an alternative address.
Due to the perishable nature of our hampers, orders returned to LITTLE GREEN HAMPSTER for any of the reasons mentioned above are unable to be cancelled or refunded.

Exchanges, Cancellations, and Refunds

If you have any queries or concerns with the hamper(s) you have sent or received, please call the LITTLE GREEN HAMPSTER customer service team on 0400 082 243, or email info@littlegreenhampster.com.au
In the event your hamper or its contents arrive damaged or faulty, we will happily replace, exchange, or issue a credit note depending on the extent of the damage.
LITTLE GREEN HAMPSTER will require photos so we can better understand the extent of the damage or issues with the product.
If it is necessary for the product to be sent back to LITTLE GREEN HAMPSTER due to damage or being faulty, we will email you a return label to cover the cost of shipping.
We will not be able to replace, exchange, or issue a credit note for any product that has been dispatched for more than 30 days.
Please note refunds will be credited back to the original credit card or PayPal account used.
Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been prepared and are with our couriers for delivery.

Purchase of Alcohol

LITTLE GREEN HAMPSTER supports the responsible service of alcohol. It is an offence to supply alcohol to or obtain alcohol on behalf of a person under the age of 18 years.

If ordering hampers containing alcohol, you confirm you are over 18 years of age. It is a legal requirement that the person placing the order is over the age of 18 and the person receiving the delivery is over the age of 18.
